We say it often, but we’re going to say it again. Video Games and Cosplay go hand and hand, and you know we’re right. Bioware has made a name for its self for numerous large scale games, and one of those series is that of Dragon Age. A game set in the medieval ages, it’s a vast role-playing game that has a large community, much the same as one of their other big hit franchises; Mass Effect.
Like most franchises when you hit it big you start to expand. This particular cosplay is taken from the Dragon Age comic book series called The Silent Grove. Originally released in early 2012, it was a digital comic that was a hit with their fans, and even seen a sequel later in the same year.
Cosplayer Gemitah (IG) sent us these shots of her Yavana from the series, and I think we can all agree that they are fantastic. This shoot has two major things going for it, obviously, first Gemitah’s Yavana is beyond faithful to the characters and she completely nails it. Second is the stunning location that shoot took place, it really adds so much atmosphere to the whole set. Photographer Iarein Photography (IG) really has done an outstanding job handling the location. Combing both of these elements made this an epic shoot and became an easy share for us when sorting through all of our weekly submissions.
If you like what you see, please take a moment to give each the cosplayer and photographer a like on your Social Media platform of choice.
