Your editor in cheif is a major fan of everything Star Wars. Like most people in their 30’s, Star Wars means a lot and has become a major part of their entertainment life. Star Wars is a big part of today’s pop culture and in big thanks to the heads of Disney for rescurrecting the franchise, and like most fans hoping we have new Star Wars content until the end of time.

With that being said Star Wars is the ideal franchise for a cosplayer. There are just so many unbelievealbe characters to choose, and within those characters there are just so many variations. Cosplayer “Amber Brite Props” (Instagram), has sent us a real treat this week, in the form of her new Darth Talon cosplay. If you’re not familar with Darth Talon’s awesomeness. Check out more of her background story by visiting the Star Wars Fandom Wiki.link.

Besides the written media like Comicbooks and Novels, do you think we will ever see Darth Talon in any other Star Wars media? Dare we hope that she could possibly show up in Disney’s new Star Wars TV show that is being directed by Jon Favreau? I would think the more likely situation would be that she would show up in one of the many Star Wars based video game titles EA is currently producing with the exclusive deal with disney. I personally think either option would be great, as Darth Talon is certainly badass, and Star Wars could always use more killer Twi’lek. correct?

Getting back to Amber’s amazing cosplay, I for one am always blown away at the level of dedication cospalyers have to thier craft when using body paint. I can only imagine the amount of time and the amount of patience that is required to apply the paint. In this case the base layer isn’t enough, adding in the detailed tattoo work has to add another level of complication to the complete the cosplay. In the end it all woks together to really bring this cosplay to the next level.

Make sure you take a look at Amber’s soical media profiles and page to see even more amazing work she has recently published, and as well please make sure to give her a follow. Also while you’re at it, don’t forget to check out our Instgram and Twitter pages where we post cosplay every day. It’s always fun discovering new talented cosplayers to follow.
