Sometimes as an editor you lose things, which isn’t really cool, but when you find them, it’s really great. Long story here, is that Cosplay Photographer Arturo Vega (IG) sent us this amazing photoset in the middle of July and we are only getting to post it now. We actually had this loaded to the site and ready to go, but then vacation happened near the end of August, it ended up stuck in draft mode. All that to say, here we are today and it’s finally ready to go.

As a cosplayer photographer, I have to say Arturo puts a lot of thought into his shoots and it really shows. He usually goes all out. As you can see in this shoot he transformed his studio into a proper room for Shuten Douji with the help of Lance Schtauffen (Facebook), who created the doors and the props. Everything really comes together to make the visuals of the shoot really pop.

As for the cosplayer, Ale Tanooki (IG) is a huge fan of the “Fate!” games and really took it upon herself to fully embodied everything Shuten Douji – cute, sexy, lewd, drunk and kind of evil demon girl. We think she totally nailed it, what about you?
