1996 was the year the world was introduced to Lara Croft the Tomb Raider. Now (2018) 22 years later, Lara is still going strong. We’re 11 games into her video game series and on March 16, we will see the start of a brand new movie series. Things are going extremely well for the The Tomb Raider.

I myself was lucky enough to see an advanced screening (Big thanks to Fan Expo) of the new Tomb Raider movie and I have to say it was very well done. If you’re a fan of Lara Croft you have to see this movie, if you are casually interested, I still say you should see this movie, and if you simply like action movies I’d highly recommend it. I left the theater impressed. Best movie ever based on a cosplay 🙂

Timing could not have been better (almost like it was planned…), even as we are working on this feature to coincide with the release of the new Warner Brothers Tomb Raider Movie, SquareEnix has just release details on the next game… Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is set to release in September 2018.

Earlier in the week we put a call out on Social Media to our cosplay followers to send us their best Lara Croft AKA Tomb Raider cosplay. We got quite the response. Below you’ll see some truly amazing cosplay talent.
