Spanish cosplayer Morgana has always been a favorite here at SMC. Morgana does some truly amazing work. Possibly best known for some stunning body paints, you can see for yourself below that Morgana has truly stepped up her cosplay game. We were super excited when this interview worked out, as it’s always nice to connect with people who you a fan of. Enjoy!

SMC: Why did you start cosplaying?
Morgana: It was by chance, a friend told me to go to an event and that people there used to wear as their favorite characters. I loved the idea so I made my first cosplay, Morgana from League of Legends.

SMC: What was the first convention you cosplay’d?
Morgana: It was Expomanga ’12, an event placed in my city, Madrid.

SMC: What has been your most memorable convention moment?
Morgana: I think it was on “Tenerife Lan Party” the past year. I was cosplayed as Mother Gothel (Tangled) and a little girl asked me about Rapunzel. It was so lovely!!

SMC: What is your favorite thing about cosplaying at a convention?
Morgana: Feeling like I’m the character I’m cosplaying. I love acting and “playing” with people as my character would do.

SMC: Where can fans expect to see you next?
Morgana: Honestly, I don’t know!! But when I do, I’ll tell you, don’t worry xD

SMC: What cosplayers inspire you?
Morgana: Kamui, Missyeru, Alyson Tabbitha… and so many lovely Spanish cosplayers I adore!!

SMC: Which is your favorite cosplay you’ve created?
Morgana: by the moment… Elise, from League of Legends, but I’m creating Ghost Bride Morgana, from LoL too and I think it would be the best I’ve ever done.

SMC: What cosplay are you best known for?
Morgana: It depends a lot, but I think that people knows me mostly for my LoL cosplays. I couldn’t choose a special one.

SMC: If money was no object what would be your dream cosplay creation?
Morgana: Kerrigan Queen of Blades o

SMC: Do you have any new cosplays currently in the works?
Morgana: Yes!! Ghost Bride Morgana!!

SMC: What are your cosplay strengths?
Morgana: I think Eva Foam work. I love that material!! And getting into the character’s skin, I love acting and I really enjoy giving life to them.

SMC: What’s one thing you wish you knew about cosplaying before you got started?
Morgana: I wish I’d know everything I know now xD Nah, not really. It was beautiful growing up in the cosplay world ^^

SMC: Any advice for people interested in cosplaying for the first time?
Morgana: Be patient, ask everything you don’t know, watch tutorials, don’t be in a hurry, don’t worry if things don’t come up… just enjoy it!!

SMC: What do you do in the real world for a job?
Morgana: Right now Cosplay is my full time job ^^

SMC: What is something your fans may not know about you? Other hobbies?
Morgana: I don’ t know. I usually do streams and I talk about everything of me while I’m playing, I think fans know me better than my mom!!

SMC: What part of “geekdom” is you favorite avenue of entertainment
Morgana: Video Games and anime!!
