Location: Madrid, Spain.
SMC: Why did you start cosplaying?
Hekady: Because I met this world and i saw that it was very colorful and funny.
A way to bring to the real world the most beautiful characters designs. Also meeting people with the same hobbies as me… its great! 🙂
SMC: What was the first convention you cosplayed & What did you wear?
Hekady: The first convention i have ever been was the “Expocomic Madrid 2008”. I went there with my brother cosplayed as Death Note’s Misa with clothes
that i already had at home. I was very embarrassed because i didn’t know anyone there and almost didn’t took off my coat for the pictures LOL The next one was “Expomanga Madrid 2009”, this time i went with some friends and cosplayed as Soul Eater’s Maka, cosplay that a friend borrowed me. This time was so much fun.
SMC: What has been your most memorable convention moment (i.e. funniest moment) ?
Hekady: In 2010 i went to the Madrid Japan Weekend, cosplayed as Air Gear’s Simca. A crowd of people came to say hello and take pictures with me when suddenly a guy ran after me, he took a candy, took it of the package while he was looking at me in a very weird way, and then….he rubbed the candy on my face , and then started running away while shouting “now my candy tastes like you!!!” I was freaking out! While the other people was laughing so bad!
SMC: What is the favorite thing about cosplaying at a convention?Hekady: The pictures of course! The best think of a convention is arrive with your cosplay and feel like the people likes it and ask you to take pictures with them. Is very pleasant and funny. I love that the people gives credit to my work and enjoy my cosplays.
SMC: Related to conventions, where can your fans expect to see you next
(2014 schedule?) ?
Expomanga Madrid and MCM London
SMC: What other cosplayers inspire you?
Hekady: Kamui, Jessica Nigri, Tasha, Miyuko, Enji Nigth, Nicole Marie Jean, Yaya Han, Lightning, Yuki Godbless… a lot!.
SMC: Out of all of the Cosplay’s you’ve created, which one has been your
Hekady: Tekken’s Lili is my favorite with no doubt! That cosplay is exactly like the original, every single detail…and i love lili <3
SMC: Same question as the last one but on the flip side to that, which one
was the most difficult to work with?
Hekady: I consider that all my cosplays are quite simple, but in the most complex my friends always try to help me 🙂 Until now , I didn’t have so much trouble with any of them… but we have to wait until i do Samus’ Armor (Metroid). That one will be very difficult!
SMC: What cosplay are you best known for?
Hekady: I think my Dark SuperGirl is the best know ^^ people love evil characters! xD
SMC: If money was no object what would be your dream costume to cosplay?
Hekady: Samus (Metroid)…..some day!!!

comics, movies, video games, anime, etc?)

SMC: What Comic Books are you currently addicted to?
