SMC: What drove you to start cosplaying?
Carmenpilar Best: Since I saw for a first time in a convention in Mexico, I felt in love with the magic of cosplay, but since I made my first cosplay feeling the complete experience its become part of my live.

SMC: What was the first convention where you cosplayed?
Carmenpilar Best: Otakufest 2008 in Lima Peru

SMC: What has been your most memorable convention moment?
Carmenpilar Best: When I made my cosplay of Juliet Staring, and the same day I was in the Sony stage where was released ps4 in Peru.

SMC: What is the favourite thing about cosplaying at a convention?

Carmenpilar Best: Taking pictures with the fans, every picture its a gift <3

SMC: Related to conventions, where can fans expect to see you next in? (any schedule in particular?)
Carmenpilar Best: Uhm…Im invited to a convention in Ecuador, Quito “Doragon” in June 7 

SMC: What other cosplayers inspire you?
Carmenpilar Best: A lot!! but I love my friends of Peru Susan Escalante, Gamaki, Daniel Olivera, also some foreigners like Ana Bertola, Tasha, Yayahan, Pinkmilink,&  Jessica Nigri

SMC: Which is your favourite Cosplay’s you’ve created?
Carmenpilar Best: Tifa Lockheart and Dizzy from Guilty Gear XX

SMC: What cosplay are you best known for?
Carmenpilar Best: I’m not sure o_o…pleople likes a lot my cosplay of Bayonetta I think…

SMC: If money was no object what would be your dream costume to cosplay
Carmenpilar Best: Uhm…I’m not sure, maybe some outrageous armor and wings of Aion

SMC: What part of “geekdom” is your favourite avenue of entertainment (i.e. comics, movies, video games, anime, etc?)
Carmenpilar Best: Videogames!! I love videogames <3 gamergirl 

SMC: What Comic Books are you currently addicted to?
Carmenpilar Best: I read a lot of Manga, I really don’t know too much about comics, only animation series, movies or videogames.

SMC: Any favourite TV shows, movies or cartoons?
Carmenpilar Best:

Movies: Butterfly effect, Lord of the rings, The Professional,
Cartoons: SheRa, My little pony, Adventure Time
Tv shows: Two and half man, Games of Throne

SMC: Do you have any new cosplays currently in the works?
Carmenpilar Best: I’m actually working in Lina from Dota 2 and Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon
