This Heavy Metal 2000 cosplayer warrior kicks ass

We’re back (again). After taking another small break to get a few things in order, we are here again with new content for you to enjoy. Let’s stop talking and get right to the action. Cosplayer Anna Shakhovskaya (Instagram) as Julie Strain from Heavy Metal 2000. Right away, let’s get into it and kick off a vote in the comments section below, Cartoon or Anime?

We have to say this set is truly badass, and it’s so awesome that we are still seeing this level of cosplay being created while the world in a bit of a flux right now. We have a duo cosplay photographers working on this set. Both @roman_chepurnoi & @rch_preset and have done a truly outstanding job creating capturing this set.

Heavy Metal 2000 is also known as “Heavy Metal F.A.K.K.” in some regions and is the follow-up sequel to the original 1981 animated cult hit “Heavy Metal”. This sequel film features some major star power in the form of voices from Michael Ironside, Billy Idol and of course Julie Strain. Julie Strains real lifelikeness is what the main character is based on, and both the film and this cosplay have hit it right on the head.

If you check out one of the original pictures posted to @ann_shakhovskaya‘s Instagram you’ll see there was a whole team of talented people that worked on this set. We have to say this is one of the coolest sets we’ve come across in 2020.
