Welcome back to another amazing SMCDaily! So while Netflix is getting all the fame and glory for bringing back She-Ra and her amazing friends, I grew up in the ’80s and was very much surrounded by everything He-man. Let’s be honest, I actually preferred other shows such as Transformers and GI Joe during those crazy days of the ’80s, but He-man was alive and kicking for sure. He-man has his own cast of crazy unique characters and we will certainly see them in the upcoming 2021 Netflix show, but one of the most unique characters is that of Orko. Right away as soon as I mention “interesting” and “character” in the same sentence that means someone out there has cosplayed it, and you’re here to see some truly fantastic Orko cosplay.
Normally the rule of thumb for the site is we work on submissions, and that works 99.9% of the time. However sometimes not very often, but sometimes we will stumble across a cosplay that we are just blown away by, and we will reach out to that cosplayer asking if they would like to be featured. That is what happened with @anniegraves.cosplay truly outstanding Orko. You can see it below, this Orko is totally badass. If he had looked anything close to this in the original cartoon, I think I would have watched the show a bit more. For now please enjoy this amazing cosplay.
For anyone playing catchup and not really familiar with Orko, he was originally introduced in the original He-man series. The writers used him as a comic relief character as he got into some pretty sticky situations. If you want to deep dive Orko, he is a Trollan, a race of beings from Trolla.
