SMC: Why did you start cosplaying?

KISSTINI: I wanted to start cosplaying after attending San Diego Comic Con last year — I loved how awesome everyone looked in their costumes.

SMC: What was the first convention you cosplayed & What did you wear?

KISSTINI: I cosplayed at WonderCon this year as Catwoman.

SMC: What has been your most memorable convention moment (i.e. funniest moment) ?

KISSTINI: My most memorable moment is when I got to take group pictures with dozens of other Gotham City inspired cosplayers at WonderCon 2013

SMC: What is the favorite thing about cosplaying at a convention?

KISSTINI: My favorite thing would definitely be when small children ask to take pictures with me. As a mother of two young children, I find their enthusiasm to be the sweetest thing ever.

SMC: Related to conventions, where can your fans expect to see you next (2013/2014 schedule?) ?

KISSTINI: I will be at San Diego ComicCon in July and I also plan on attending the Comikaze Expo later this year.

SMC: What other cosplayers inspire you?

KISSTINI: Knightess Rouge because of her Batgirl cosplay.

SMC: Out of all of the Cosplay’s you’ve created, which one has been your favorite?

KISSTINI: Catwoman, though I didn’t create all the pieces. The cowl is made by the talented Reevz FX. (Reevzfx.com)

SMC: What cosplay are you best known for?

KISSTINI: I’m not sure if I’m actually “known” for a particular cosplay but I have worn my Catwoman cosplay the most.

SMC: If money was no object what would be your dream costume to cosplay?

KISSTINI: The Super Metroid Varia suit, It’s amazing. I played the game on Super Nintendo when I was a kid.

SMC: What part of “geekdom” is you favorite avenue of entertainment (i.e. comics, movies, video games, anime, etc?)

KISSTINI: I would have to say movies and comics

SMC: What Comic Books are you currently addicted to?

KISSTINI: Batgirl, Catwoman, Supergirl, Animal Man, Creepy, and The Walking Dead are just a few.

SMC: Do you have any new cosplays currently in the works?

KISSTINI:  I’m currently working on a few cosplays. Huntress, Han Solo, The Comedian are just to name a few.
